When Bacan acts as a processor for content hosted by a customer, the customer determines the purposes, lawful bases and duties towards its own users.
2. Who this applies to
- Visitors to bacan.com and pages linking to this policy.
- Customers, trial users, technical administrators and billing contacts.
- People who contact Bacan by email, forms, tickets or the client area.
- Resellers and end users where Bacan must intervene for support, security or compliance.
3. Data we process
- Identification and contact data, company details, address, telephone, email and tax data where needed.
- Contractual data, orders, renewals, tickets, incidents, invoices and tokenised payments.
- Technical data such as IP address, access logs, browser, device, security events, DNS and resource usage.
- Domain data required by registrars, registries or ICANN.
- Communications needed for support, quality, security or the commercial relationship.
4. Purposes and lawful bases
- Providing contracted services: performance of a contract.
- Billing, accounting, tax and legal obligations: legal duty.
- Security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention and platform protection: legitimate interest.
- Commercial support and replies to enquiries: pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest.
- Analytics and non-essential communications: consent, always revocable.
5. Recipients and transfers
Bacan shares data only when necessary and with appropriate safeguards. Providers may include infrastructure, datacentres, network, security, support, transactional email, payment gateways, analytics, registrars and registries.
Data may also be disclosed to authorities, courts, law-enforcement bodies or legitimate third parties where there is a legal obligation, valid request or need for legal defence.
6. Retention and rights
Data is kept only for the time necessary for the relevant purpose and, afterwards, blocked for applicable legal limitation periods.
You may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent by writing to abuse@bacan.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
