My hosting service works intermittently. Sometimes it stops for a while. What is happening?

My website keeps going down. What can I do?

If your website is hosted with Bacan, this situation is unusual, and it is rarely caused by a problem on the server itself.

If you notice intermittent access in our hosting service, the most likely reason is that the server is blocking your IP address for some reason.

To find out why the server is blocking your IP, you should:

  1. Find your IP address. Any "what is my IP" service can show it to you.
  2. Send it to us by email, ticket, or chat.
  3. We will tell you what triggered the block.
  4. Fix the cause on your network based on the guidance from our support technicians, and the service should return to normal stability.
