If you are following the correct access instructions, the most likely explanation is that the panel port is blocked either by your local firewall or by your Internet provider.
Each control panel uses different ports:
- cPanel: 2082
- DirectAdmin: 2222
This port may be blocked for several reasons:
- You are using a firewall that blocks the port.
- You are using a proxy connection that does not allow browsing over that port.
- Some antivirus solutions may block the port.
- Your router may be configured to close it.
- Your Internet provider may block it.
This issue is usually easy to solve. You simply need to reopen the port for browsing and access to the control panel should be restored immediately.
A second possible reason is that your domain name is not pointing to our servers. That can happen when DNS changes have not been completed yet or were made very recently.
