Maintaining the health of our servers is our priority so that your emails never end up in the junk mail folder. That's why, at Bacan, we have a firm stance: we do not allow spam sending under any circumstances.
Our sending policy: Zero Tolerance
It's natural to want to promote your business, but sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam) puts the reputation of the IP address you share with other clients at risk. If an IP gets on a "blacklist" because of spam, all users on that server will stop having their emails delivered.
To avoid this, we apply the following rules:
1. Sending from cPanel or DirectAdmin
Shared hosting servers are designed for day-to-day corporate email (communication with clients, quotes, inquiries). They are not optimized for sending thousands of emails at once.
-
Note: If we detect an unusual sending volume or constant spam reports, the service will be automatically suspended to protect the rest of the community.
2. What to do if you need to send Newsletters
If you have a database of clients who have agreed to receive your news, we recommend not using the hosting server for bulk sending.
-
Use external services: There are specialized mailing platforms that professionally manage delivery and unsubscribes.
-
Clean your lists: Make sure your contacts are real and have given their consent. This prevents them from marking your emails as spam.
Bacan Pro-Tip: To ensure your legitimate emails always land in the inbox, make sure you have the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records configured in your DNS zone. These "digital signatures" tell Gmail, Outlook and other providers that you really are who you say you are, dramatically improving your deliverability.
For your emails to always be welcome:
-
Quality over quantity: Spam is non-negotiable — our priority is for the service to be stable and affordable for those who use it correctly.
-
Security first: If your site is hacked and starts sending spam without your knowledge, our system will block it preventively so it doesn't damage your online reputation.
-
Professional use: Your hosting email is for communicating, not for invasive mass marketing.
