This is undoubtedly a good decision. A locked domain is more secure against theft attempts and all your domains should always be locked. You would only unlock them if you have decided to transfer the domain to another registrar. And once transferred, you would lock them again.
To lock or unlock your domain, follow these instructions:
1. Log in to your client area at: https://www.bacan.com/clients/client/login/
2. Go to your domains section
3. Choose the domain you want to lock or unlock
4. Access the domain lock section
5. Choose the status you want for the domain — locked or unlocked for transfers
