Follow these 5 steps and your service will remain active 100% without interruptions.- Sign up for hosting with Bacan before your current hosting provider cancels your account. Do not leave it until the last minute. Start the migration at least one week before your contract with your current provider expires.
- As soon as you have your new hosting account credentials, access your control panel using the IP address we provide and set up:

- Email accounts
- Email redirects (optional)
- Databases
- Your preferred access password
- Subdomains
- Any additional domains you use

- Upload your website files to the server via FTP.
- Once your new hosting is ready to receive your domain, you will need to perform the DNS change on your domain to the new name servers we have provided.
- After the DNS change, it usually takes a few hours for the changes to propagate across the internet. During the first 72 hours, emails may arrive at both the old and new servers, so it is advisable to check email on both servers during this period. After 72 hours, all email will arrive at the new server and the old server can be decommissioned.
