Welcome to my hosting. Today we want to see how to install WordPress on your website. Let's get started.

First things first — WordPress. For those of you arriving here for the first time, you are on my hosting, one of the web hosting companies you can find on the internet. WordPress is perhaps the most important platform used to build applications and websites. Basically, it is the go-to tool for developing the look and functionality of a web page. WordPress is easy to install, fast, very secure, and very easy to use for anyone. So today we are going to see how to install it.

We will use our control panel, the one available to all customers. We will also use the automatic installer tool Softaculous, which is included in all the control panels we offer with our shared hosting service. Let me take you to the computer where we can see step by step how to install WordPress on your domain.

Here we are in the control panel of one of our domains. What we want to do is install WordPress, which you can see here in the Softaculous tool. Immediately, as the most important and most used application, there is WordPress. We click on it, enter the automatic installations area, and here we have all the information about the program along with the "Install Now" button.

We choose the installation type. We will use HTTPS. If we have a security certificate, we can use any of these options. Since our domain has a security certificate, we will install it there. We select the domain. If we had more domains, we would be given a choice. We install it in the root folder. Then we set a title and description, choose a username — it is always advisable to choose something other than "admin" — and enter a password. Copy the password to a text editor so you do not forget it, and then enter your email address. We choose the language and proceed to install.

In a few moments the progress bar completes, and we now have the site installed along with the admin section. If we enter the username and password we set, we immediately have access to the WordPress admin area.

And that is it. WordPress is installed in minutes. Question of the day: what platform do you use to build your website? Are you using WordPress, Jimdo, Magento, PrestaShop? Which one do you use?

I also want to remind you of something important. The automatic installation service is included free of charge in all our hosting plans. If you are not yet a customer, I encourage you to visit our website and see if one of our plans fits your needs. If not, send us a message or give us a call. We are happy to help.
