How do I access the cPanel control panel for my hosting?

Access your Bacan cPanel from the client area or directly from your browser. We explain all the ways to log in.

cPanel is the control panel from which you manage all aspects of your hosting: email, files, databases, subdomains, SSL, and much more. At Bacan you can access it in several ways.

Method 1: from the Bacan client area

  1. Log into bacan.com/clients with your username and password.
  2. Go to My Products & Services.
  3. Click on your active hosting plan.
  4. Select Log in to cPanel. It will open automatically with your session active.

Method 2: direct URL access

You can access directly from your browser at:

  • https://yourdomain.com:2083 — secure connection (recommended)
  • http://yourdomain.com:2082 — unencrypted connection

Enter your hosting username and password when prompted.

Method 3: via the server IP

If your domain is not yet pointing to the Bacan server, you can access using the server's IP address:

You will find the server IP in the welcome email you received when you contracted the hosting.

I don't remember my cPanel password

You can reset it from the Bacan client area:

  1. Log into the client area.
  2. Go to your active hosting plan.
  3. Select Change cPanel password.
  4. Enter a new password and save the changes.

Password changes take effect in less than one minute.

Common access issues

  • The browser shows a security warning: This is normal when accessing via IP or if the panel's SSL certificate does not match your domain. Accept the security exception to continue.
  • The page does not load: Check that port 2083 is not blocked by your network or firewall. Some internet providers block non-standard ports.
  • Incorrect username or password: The cPanel username is different from your Bacan client area username. You can find it in your service details within the client area.
