cPanel is the control panel from which you manage all aspects of your hosting: email, files, databases, subdomains, SSL, and much more. At Bacan you can access it in several ways.
Method 1: from the Bacan client area
- Log into bacan.com/clients with your username and password.
- Go to My Products & Services.
- Click on your active hosting plan.
- Select Log in to cPanel. It will open automatically with your session active.
Method 2: direct URL access
You can access directly from your browser at:
https://yourdomain.com:2083— secure connection (recommended)http://yourdomain.com:2082— unencrypted connection
Enter your hosting username and password when prompted.
Method 3: via the server IP
If your domain is not yet pointing to the Bacan server, you can access using the server's IP address:
https://[server-IP]:2083
You will find the server IP in the welcome email you received when you contracted the hosting.
I don't remember my cPanel password
You can reset it from the Bacan client area:
- Log into the client area.
- Go to your active hosting plan.
- Select Change cPanel password.
- Enter a new password and save the changes.
Password changes take effect in less than one minute.
Common access issues
- The browser shows a security warning: This is normal when accessing via IP or if the panel's SSL certificate does not match your domain. Accept the security exception to continue.
- The page does not load: Check that port 2083 is not blocked by your network or firewall. Some internet providers block non-standard ports.
- Incorrect username or password: The cPanel username is different from your Bacan client area username. You can find it in your service details within the client area.
