A redirect allows two or more domains to share the same hosting account and display the same content. It is usually the ideal option for saving costs when you want to access the same site from different internet addresses. A classic example can be seen with large companies: www.google.com, www.google.net, and www.google.org all display the same content. Note: this is also sometimes called "domain parking."
To begin, go to the "Domains" section in cPanel and click on the "Redirects" option.
You will then see a screen like this: When filling in this screen, keep the following in mind: Permanent (301): Selecting this option creates a permanent redirect, so search engines will update their index and when someone visits "mydomain.es," the content of "mydomain.com" will load instead. Temporary (302): Use this option when redirecting your website to another one temporarily. https://(www)? Here you select the domain you want to redirect. In the field to the right you can specify a particular path, e.g. "mydomain.es/products." Redirects to: Here you specify where you want the domain to redirect, e.g. https://www.mydomain.com. Do not forget to include https://. www Redirection: Select the option that best suits your needs, depending on whether you want to redirect your domain with or without www.
To finish, click the "Add" button.
