As standard, Bacan offers three webmail environments to access your email from the browser: Horde, Roundcube and SquirrelMail. If the offering changes at any point due to service improvements, it will be documented in this section.
Available webmail programs
- Roundcube: usually the most comfortable option for day-to-day use thanks to its clean and modern interface.
- Horde: integrates additional functions for users who want more tools within the webmail itself.
- SquirrelMail: a lightweight and very simple alternative for quick email checks.
How to choose between them
If you just need to read and send email with a modern interface, start with Roundcube. If you prefer to try several options, the most practical approach is to log into webmail and see which one you're most comfortable working with.
If you're going to use an email program
Webmail lets you access email from your browser, but if you want to use Outlook, Thunderbird or your mobile, you should also configure your account via IMAP, POP3 and SMTP depending on your situation.
