Bacan Affiliate Program: Requirements and Rules
Affiliate programs are an excellent opportunity to generate passive income by promoting hosting services. At Bacan, our affiliate program is designed to reward our promoters for their contribution to sales — it is not a self-discount program.
To ensure the program's success and transparency, certain requirements must be met. Here are the key rules:
1. Account Registration and Approval
Before you can start earning commissions, affiliates must register on the Bacan platform. This process includes:
- Providing valid personal information.
- Accepting the program's terms and conditions.
- In some cases, waiting for manual approval of the application.
2. Accepted Promotion Methods
To ensure the program's effectiveness, each affiliate must inform us in advance about the promotion method they will use. At least one of the following is required:
- Blogs and websites with relevant content.
- YouTube channels and social media with appropriate audiences.
- Paid advertising (must be consulted before use, as it may be subject to restrictions).
- Email marketing (no spam or deceptive practices).
3. Prohibited Practices
To protect the reputation and quality of the program, Bacan strictly prohibits the following:
- Using deceptive methods to attract customers.
- Offering financial incentives to potential customers for signing up.
- Using misleading advertising or making false comparisons.
- Purchasing domain names similar to the Bacan brand.
4. Payment Structure and Commission Terms
Commissions are calculated under the following conditions:
- Only one commission is paid per referred customer. Renewals or additional purchases by the same customer do not generate new commissions.
- The service that generated the commission must remain active for at least 6 months.
- The available payment method is PayPal.
- A minimum of $100 USD in commissions must be accumulated before requesting a withdrawal.
5. Cookie and Tracking Policy
To track conversions generated by each affiliate, Bacan uses cookies. The key features of this system are:
- Cookie duration: 30 days.
- Referral attribution: Attribution mechanisms will be in place for cases with multiple referrals.
6. Legal and Tax Compliance
Depending on the affiliate's country of residence, the following may be required:
- Issuing invoices to receive commission payments.
- Declaring income and paying taxes in accordance with local laws.
