How do I create an email account in cPanel?

Learn how to create your own professional email account in cPanel quickly and easily. Step-by-step guide to start sending and receiving emails.

With your Bacan hosting you can create professional email accounts like info@yourdomain.com directly from cPanel. The process takes less than two minutes.


Steps to create the account

  1. Log into your cPanel.
  2. In the Email section, click on Email Accounts.
  3. Click + Create.
  4. Fill in the form: select the domain, enter the username (the part before the @), set a password, and define the storage quota.
  5. Click Create. The account is active immediately.

Accessing your email

  • Webmail: access from your browser at https://webmail.yourdomain.com or from cPanel → Email AccountsCheck Email.
  • External client (Outlook, iPhone, Android): check the email configuration guide for the server settings.

Management from cPanel

In Email Accounts you can change passwords, increase the quota, suspend, or delete any account. The maximum number of accounts depends on your contracted plan.
