As the Internet continues to grow and evolve, so too does the world of online commerce. The removal of barriers between businesses and consumers has been made possible by advancements in technology, the elimination of middlemen, and tax incentives for online entrepreneurship.
At Bacan, we are committed to supporting responsible commerce on the Internet through our comprehensive service offerings and unmatched customer support. However, we also recognize that the same environment that has allowed this trend to thrive has also given rise to an increase in fraudulent activities and abuse of network resources.
One particularly problematic issue is the prevalence of «spam», which refers to unsolicited email, instant messaging, or other communication sent to a large group of people at once. This may include promotional messages posted on bulletin boards, guestbooks, Usenet newsgroups, or chat rooms.
Please note that spamming is strictly prohibited by our Terms of Service, and any customer found to have used spam in conjunction with their Bacan account will be immediately disabled without refund.
To ensure that our customers are able to use bulk email and messaging in an acceptable manner, we have established a clear policy outlining what constitutes acceptable use of these services. This policy is designed to protect both our customers and the wider online community, and we ask that you take the time to review it carefully.
Thank you for choosing Bacan as your web hosting provider. We look forward to helping you grow your online business in a responsible and secure manner.

Subscriptions
We take our responsibility to protect your privacy and ensure responsible email communication seriously at Bacan. As such, we have established a set of policies to govern how we handle mailing lists and subscriptions to ensure that our practices align with industry standards and regulations.
All mailing list subscribers must have specifically opted in to the list they are subscribed to, either as a new subscriber or through the bulk addition of addresses that were already subscribed via other means. To confirm their subscription, subscribers will receive a single confirmation message containing a URL to the site’s privacy policy, a brief description of the mailing list, and a URL that they must follow to confirm their subscription.
When subscribing, users must also fully understand the nature of email address use, including how their email address will be used and in what circumstances it will be shared. This information will either be disclosed on the subscription page or through a prominent link to the site’s privacy policy.
Third-party purchased email lists will not be accepted under any circumstances. Sending emails to such lists constitutes spam and will result in immediate suspension of hosting services.
Finally, all subscriptions must be re-confirmed in the same manner described above before any bulk email messages are sent to subscribers.
We hope this information helps you better understand our policies around mailing lists and subscriptions. As always, please do not hesitate to contact our support team if you have any further questions or concerns.

Mailing Practices
At Bacan, we are committed to promoting responsible and ethical email communication practices. To help achieve this goal, we have established a set of policies that all users must follow when using our services.
Users are strictly prohibited from modifying message headers in any way that purposefully obfuscates the origin of the message. Additionally, undeliverable addresses must be removed from all future mailings after no more than 5 bounces.
Users are responsible for the practices of any affiliate program members they enlist for assistance, as if they were hiring an outside advertising agency. Furthermore, users who use outside advertising companies or 3rd party mailing programs must adhere to the same policies and practices as those using Bacan’s own bulk mailing list tools.
All mailings must include clear and simple instructions for opting out of future mailings. In addition, all reasonable attempts must be made to facilitate the removal of a mailing list subscriber at their request.
Users should also be aware that Bacan’s electronic mail service equipment is located in Germany. Therefore, users must not use Bacan’s equipment in violation of EU Anti-Spam laws

Spamware
At Bacan, we are committed to preventing the abuse of our services for the purposes of spamming. To this end, we strictly prohibit the sale or use of any software that is designed specifically to facilitate the practice of spamming in conjunction with your Bacan account.
We take this policy very seriously, as the use of such software can harm not only our customers but also the wider online community. Therefore, any customer found to be in violation of this policy will face immediate disablement of their Bacan account without refund.

Other kind of Spam
At Bacan, we believe in promoting responsible and ethical online communication practices. To help achieve this goal, we have established a policy governing the posting of promotional messages on various online platforms.
Predominantly promotional messages must not be posted to bulletin boards, discussion forums, guestbooks, Usenet newsgroups, or any other similar service, unless the operator of that service explicitly allows such messages.
We take this policy very seriously, as the posting of spam or other unsolicited promotional messages can harm not only our customers but also the reputation of Bacan as a whole. Therefore, any customer found to be in violation of this policy may face immediate disablement of their Bacan account without refund.

Disablement
We reserve the right to disable any account at any time if we suspect that it is being used in conjunction with the practice of spamming. Additionally, the number of email addresses that can be created in conjunction with any account may be limited at our sole discretion, pending review and verification of compliance with all agreed-upon terms.
Customers must substantially address all spam-related inquiries by Bacan personnel within 48hours. Failure to respond within a reasonable period of time may result in the disablement of the user’s account.
